We're Revamping the Blog!

You know the old adage, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it"?

I think we can safely say that applies here--I want to change the blog on which I've never posted.
Instead of writing strictly about music (which I should begin to do this week -- sorry, busy busy schedule), I'm definitely thinking about adding a staff of writers (psh, staff--look at me trying to seem official!) so we can have more topic variety. Probably start several series and such. Here is the first draft:

• New Music Monday - This is the Music Recommendations blog, shortened to just Monday posts.
• Throwback Tuesday - Me whining about the good old days. 
• Short Story Wednesday - My short story blog, shortened to just Wednesdays.
• Terri -ble/-fic Movie Thursdays - Don't know how to stylize this, but a movie review blog.
• Free Response Fridays - Anything YOU want to talk about.

Again, this is a reader-oriented blog, so I want your feedback. Should I change the blog in its infancy?

Hello! I'm Lisa. (Ah, let's leave the cheesy introductions at the door.)

This blog is a product of the witty remarks my dad makes after I horribly criticize a professional-level musician for playing a wrong note in performance. 

FAQs

Q: What credentials do you have in writing this blog?

A: None but the curse that is perfect pitch. (Well, I have also taken several music theory courses, and I, too, am a performer.) No one said you had to take my word for any music opinions I publish here.

Q: What kind of music will you be writing about?

A: I'll try a little of everything. I'll probably begin with things I enjoy listening to, hopefully moving on to things I'm not as familiar with, live performances, and the like. Once the blog is publicized, I plan to take requests, and I'll have an account set up for that.

Q: What is the purpose of this blog?

A: I want to share music that I'm into (a somewhat wide variety that unfortunately does not encompass all genres) and add to my collection of favorite artists by reviewing music to which I have yet to be exposed.
